A little about us
We founded the company Vetmed and the Vetmed range of products in 2011, out of a shared passion for helping New Zealand farms to thrive. With more than 60 years’ experience in the animal health business between us, we saw an opportunity for a local manufacturer that intimately understood the needs of Kiwi farms and livestock.
We’re committed to researching, developing and manufacturing innovative animal health products to create healthy futures for New Zealand livestock.
Our process
Our comprehensive product range benefits from our extensive knowledge and understanding of the local agricultural environment. Every aspect of Vetmed’s manufacturing process is done in our North Island laboratory, and each product is trialled and tested on local farms under the supervision of leading experts.
Our treatments for sheep, cattle and deer are developed to be more advanced than other generic solutions and pass rigorous testing. Put simply, they perform better because of that.
